Focussing on the health and wellbeing of the family, this professional study day explored how technology and other innovations are changing the way care is given in the 21st century, exploring, in particular:

  • how community health professionals can use technology and other innovations to reach young people and their families
  • how social media can be used to engage young people in healthy lifestyles
  • health care in the home
  • national IT programmes used by health professionals
